Privacy Policy

Last updated 29 July 2026

What we collect

Your email address, and only if you type it into our signup form. Nothing else — no name, no company, no job title. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or analytics that profile you.

Why we hold it

To send you The Hospitality Newsletter. That is the only purpose. We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber addresses with advertisers or anyone else.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is a note that you have dismissed our privacy notice, so it stops reappearing. That is kept in local storage, never sent to us.

Third parties

Our pages load fonts and styles from Google's and Tailwind's public content networks. Loading them means your browser contacts those services, which can see your IP address. We are working to serve these files from our own server so that stops happening. Article images are served from the original publisher's site, which their servers can likewise see.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to stop. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the sending list immediately.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely. Email hello@thehospitalitynewsletter.com and we will action it. If you are in the EU or UK, these rights are yours under the GDPR.

Where your data lives

Subscriber addresses are stored on our own hosting, not with a third-party marketing platform, and the file holding them is not reachable from the public web.
